NSDL Technical Network Services has made available the revised 2010 EduPak Road Map. The Road Map outlines changes and additions to existing services that NSDL Technical Network Services will conduct as part of its 2010 workplan.

The EduPak suite of services is comprised of the NSDL repository (NDR), collection management services (NCS) and custom search services (DDS). The Road Map details enhancements to EduPak that support a platform perspective for learning applications supporting STEM education, including:

  • provision of a simpler API to NDR
  • extending the data model to accommodate annotation capability as part of the Collections API
